Today is my last day in this school and I am sad because it is good and I really enjoyed during this six days.
I would to say thank you at all the class, the teachers and the principal for the welcome song, the things which they teach me and for all this days.
I had a really good time here and I'll like to return back another year.
Tuesday 16th August
School in New Zealand
In my homeroom class .... Room 15 ... there are only 16 students! The teacher is Miss McLennan and she also teaches Food and Fabric Technology. She also teaches Languages like Japanese, German and Spanish!
Yesterday I went to school for the first time! I was a little bit scared. I had to learn to use a computer because the students do their work on a "wiki" . Holly helped me to get started. It was ok.
At morning break, Holly took me outside to have a break. We played with the ball a game called "Four Square". I will show my friends how to play in Italy.
In Science we did an experiment with Mr Potter. It was fun and I loved doing the experiments. We don't do experiments at our school.
It was then time for Art. I just looked at what the students were making.
At lunch time I ate my lunch .... a ham sandwich and then we played Four Square outside. It was a sunny day even though it is winter time here! The children were all playing outside. It was fun.
After lunch it was Art class and I drew a flower. I like drawing so I enjoyed this lesson with Mr Whibley.
The last lesson at school for the day was Maths with Mr Potter. The students had to do a test. I didn't do the test but I did some maths anyway.
School finished at 3.05pm. I felt happy. It was a good day. The best part was working with the class and doing the science. My other Italian friends also had a good day .... Gaia did the Spanish class with Miss McLennan and they spoke German together.
We went back to Ohau and did athletic training for 90 minutes of strong training. The chef at the lodge made pasta for us ... it tasted good. We had a game of ping pong .... I read my book, I called my parents at 8pm and it was 10am in Italy! They were so happy to hear me and I was happy to hear them.
We went to bed at 9.30pm. It was such a good day. It was a better day than I thought it was going to be!
I am here to learn english and skiing.
I know that new zealand does rugby and there is lots of sheep the kiwi and cows.
